How do I upload a video or audio track?
Now that you clicked on the “Enter the contest” link you will be able to upload your video or mp3. First choose if it is a video or mp3. Make sure you fill out this form the best that you can so that it accurately describes your song.
Title: Enter the title of the song.
Description: Give a short description about the band or Artist. This is basically a short bio.
Tags: These are keywords that will help your fans find your video or song better. Say that the band is called “Stars Go Dim” and the song is called “Get Over It”. You can enter these key words (Example: Stars Go Dim, Get Over It, Pop)
Category: Choose the best genre that describes your music.
Media Content: Answer the following questions. Then click on the “Next” button.
Now you can upload your video or mp3. Make sure you wait for your file to upload fully before you move onto the next page.
On the next page, click on the “Done” button. Your video or MP3 might take a while to fully upload. Keep checking back. Once the video or mp3 is in the system you are ready to promote. Check the tips section for advice on promoting.
Can I submit a cover song?
No. “Rock the Camp” contest is looking for artists to submit original music ONLY! If the video or audio track isn’t original it will be automatically disqualified (see rules and regulations for more details.)
Once I submit my work, does “Rock the Camp” contest own the rights to it?
“Rock the Camp” contest only retains the right to market and use your video/and or audio track; we do not own your song, lyrics, film, etc. The artist/band maintains all intellectual property rights to their own work.
In the terms/condititions/rules we need to state that we reserve the right to use the aritsts image and materials for promotion of Rock The Camp and Camp Electric.
