What are the age requirements?
Artists must be at least 13 years old and up to enter the “Rock the Camp” contest. Fans can register at any age. If artists, bands, or fans are under the age of 18 they must register with their parent’s consent.
Is the contest for both soloists and bands?
Yes, the contest is for the individual artists, duo’s or bands up to 6 members. All collaborative works are welcome to enter. Multi-member groups that enter together are considered to be a single entry.
Do we have to be in a specific genre of music?
No. The contest is open to all genres of music as long as the intent and lyrics are of a positive and encouraging nature. Whatever your style you’ve got a shot!
I am already on a record label. Can I still enter the “Rock the Camp” contest?
The Rock the Camp contest is about discovering up and coming bands and artists. Artists and bands must not be under a recording or management contract with a music recording company, either individually or as part of a group that would prevent them from accepting any of the prizes (including recording with Grammy and Dove winning producer Paul Ebersold).
I am not a U.S. resident. Can I still participate?
No, the contest is only open to the 50 US states.
