How does the contest work?
Artists and bands will first submit a video or audio clip. After their video or audio clip has been submitted then it’s time to to tell their fans, family and random people off the street to vote for them. There will be three rounds of voting. (See rules and regulations for dates and details for each round) After each voting round the competition will be narrowed down until the final ten artists/bands have been picked. Once again, self-promotion is a huge part in this competition. The more votes your video or audio clip gets, the closer you get to winning. It’s that simple!
How do I submit my media into the contest?
Once an artist has created a profile and uploaded a video or audio, they will be automatically entered into the contest. But be careful--the first media that you upload will be your contest entry and can not be changed.
How can I be certain I am entered into the competition?
You can search for your video or audio clip by name at the bottom of the home page, under all the videos. If your video or audio clip shows up, then you are entered into the competition. Please give this a day or to show up since the process needs to be approved by a Rock the Camp associtate. If a day or so passes and there is still no sign of your video or audio clip, please email us at info@campelectric.com and put the phrase, “Upload issues” in the subject line.
How does voting work?
You must register with “Rock the Camp” contest in order to vote. After registering and logging into your account, watch music videos and click the vote button, which can be found under each video. You may cast one vote per artist, per day and you may vote for as many artists as you wish.
When it gets to the the top 10, the judges will be looking at all areas of the artists/band. They will check out myspaces, websites, videos, overall presence online, songs, etc. Votes will get you to the top 10 but your overall presence and professionalism will give you a better shot at winning the GRAND PRIZE!!!
Can people submit more than one entry?
Yes. But it would be in your best interest to go with your best and concentrate on getting as many votes for your one song. Remember people can only vote once a day so, you really will hurt your chances if you split up your votes.

I voted yesterday. Why can't I vote today?
While you can vote for as many files as you like within a given day, you must wait 24 hours between votes on the same entry.
Votes Clear After Each Round
After each voting round, all votes will be cleared and all remaining artist will start with no votes.
